Manchester golf had their first match Wednesdaay at home vs Wabash at Sycamore GC. Manchester edged out Wabash 208 to 212.
Owen Kruschwitz took medalist for the evening with a score of 40. Wabash was led by Andrew Dinkins who shot a 45.
Rounding out the rest of Manchester’s varsity was Conner Lauer with a 48, Brady Wiley and Jackson Felgar both shot 60, and Caden Egner recorded a 62. Wabash did not bring any JV players, but Manchester’s JV was led by Isaiah Burlingame who shot 58. Preston Duffy shot 61, Zach France shot 62, and Finn Sincroft shot 68. It was a chilly and windy night, and all players struggled around the course. For many of Manchester’s players this was their first ever competitive high school match, so it was good to get out the first round nerves. The varsity squad looks forward to competing this Saturday in the Northrop Invitational at Colonial Oaks Golf Course.
