Yankees Edge Cubs In American League

Siders Premier properties Yankees defeat the Next Level Internet Cubs in American League action 9-8, Monday night.

Lucas Drown got the win on the mound for the Yankees, throwing 10 K’s. At the plate for the Yankees Karstyn Updike was 3-3 with 2 runs scored, Cameron Drown was 1-2 with 2 RBI’s and Cade Pershing was 2-3 with a run scored.

For the Cubs, Eli Shelhammer was solid on the mound, but took the loss. Luke Southwyk, Eli Shelhammer, and Zoe Music led the way offensively for the Cubs, who battled back from a deficit to fall just short.

Yankees move to 1-0 on the season while the Cubs fall to 0-1.
