Lady Knights Fall At Marion

The Southwood softball team fell to Marion 11-9 Friday.

Southwood managed to scratch and claw their way back into the game after they spotted the Giants 5 runs in the 1st. Southwood scored 7 times in the second and held on to the 7-5 lead until the 4th inning when they tacked on another run before giving up 2 in the bottom of the frame. Southwood scored their final run of the night in the 5th before giving up the games final 4 runs to the Giants in the 6th. Southwood continues to grow and learn and they take their lumps early on. They are currently at 4-8 on the season. Southwood will host the Apaches of Wabash on Monday May 3.
