The Northfield JV baseball team defeated Pioneer 14-9 Friday.
The offensive effort was led by Jayden Truman, Bryce Smith, Paul Treska, and Reece Rosen; each scoring 2 runs a piece. The big shot of the night was when Mason Fisher hit a triple, that led to him advancing all the way home on an over throw. The pitching for the Norse was led by Malachi Higgins who allowed 6 runs on 72 pitches; and finished by Layne Denton who only walked 1 on 59 pitches. The Norse JV next travel to Central Noble on Saturday Morning, May 8.
