Norse Third-Knights Fifth At Cole Invite
The Northfield and Southwood golf team participated in the Cole Invite Saturday.
The Norse finished third with a 376.
Toby Baer would steal the show on the day. Baer placed in the top 8 individually as his 75(+4) would rank #1 overall as medalist among all schools. He would then go on to eagle the par 4 #11 in “slam dunk” dramatic fashion after his tee shot. The senior’s round of 75 marks his personal best in high school competitive play. Competing on the day for the Norsemen were Toby Baer, Eric Tracy, Dylan Ross, Cash Cartwright and Tristan Hoffman for a team score of 376
The Knights finished fifth with a 395.
Luke Watson was the team medalist 45/42 – 87 and finished seventh place individual. Drayson Pace shot 44/47 – 91, Jayden Timmons 51/52 – 103, Karson Baldwin 55/59 – 114, Dylan Stout 60/56 – 116.
