Despite seeing its six-run lead whittled down by the end, The Kendall Electric Yankees still held off the Wabash Hardware Giants for a 12-10 victory on Friday.

Giants managed four runs in the failed comeback. Maverick Mattern, Eastyn Eppard, and Randy Boring, each picked up RBIs.

There was plenty of action on the base paths as the Yankees collected 12 hits and Giants had seven.

The Yankees took the lead for good with six runs in the second inning. In the second Talan Baker singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Harrison Dale tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs, Dylan Hurst singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Bode Sorg singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.

Giants racked up seven hits on the day. Holton Satterwaite and Micah Siders all managed multiple hits for Giants. Holton led Giants with four hits in four at bats.
