Knights Roll Past Huntington

The Southwood baseball team defeated Huntington 12-0 Friday.

The Knights put together one of their most complete games of the year at Huntington tonight. 8 hitters had hits, Koby Thomas pitched a 2 hit shutout, and the defense was flawless. The Knights were able to defeat a struggling Vikings squad in 5 innings.

Logan Barley 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored and 4 RBIs

Koby Thomas 1 for 3 with a double
Tristin Hayslett 1 for 3 with a triple and two runs scored
Joey Bland 1 for 2 with a walk, a run scored, and two RBIs

On the mound, Koby Thomas was lights out. He threw a complete game (5 innings) shutout. He allowed only 2 hits and one walk. He struck out 4 and only threw 71 pitches.
