All four county golf teams played in the Wabash invite Saturday.
Northfield finished third with a 359.
Cash Cartwright led the way for the Norsemen carding an 82. Cash would also find his way in to the top 5 medalists landing 3rd overall in a competitive field. The young sophomore birdied 2 holes on the day, nearly hitting a hole-in-one on the par 3 number 3 just inches from the cup. Toby Baer finished the round with an 87, followed by Eric Tracy with a 93, marking his personal best 18 hole round of the season. Tristan Hoffman and Dylan Ross would both tally a pair of 97’s to round off the 359 that also crowns the team best on the season.
Southwood finished sixth with a 398
Luke Watson was the team medalist with 48/41 – 89, Drayson Pace 48/43 – 91, Dylan Stout 55/52 – 107, Jayden Timmons 56/55 – 111, and Isaiah Sutton 58/54 – 112.
