Lady Norse/Apaches Open Season At Huntington
The Wabash and Northfield girls golf teams opened their season at the Huntington Invite Tuesday.
The Northfield Girls Varsity Golf Team finished 5th out of 12 teams at the Huntington North Invite. Alex Cartwright shot her personal best for 18 hole match play with a 79. Ainsley Dale also shot her personal best for 18 hole match play with an 81. Both Alex and Ainsley finished in the top 10 individually. Also contributing was Hannah Wilson with a solid round of 97. Ella Satterthwaite and Kylie Leland finished the scoring with a pair of 115’s.
Senior Anne Cole placed 7th over all with an 82 followed but Talia Carrillo and Kenley McWhirt who both shot 102. Corrine Kugler shot a PR 9 holes and a 106 overall. Aubrey will shot a 113 and freshmen Emma Adam’s shot a 129 which is her first 18 tournament score.
