Manchester Soccer Runs Away From Peru
The Manchester boys soccer team fell behind 1-0 early before responding with six unanswered goals in a 6-1 win over Peru Thursday.
The Tigers struck first. Manchester came back with two in the 1st half, followed by 4 more in the second.
Michael Ortiz scored 3, Tyler McLain, Nathaniel Miller and Diego Munoz had one each. Kolby Haecker did a great job in the goal with 8 saves. The defense of Jackson Austin, Trevor Heath, Braydon Samson, Dylan Hernandez, Riley Shock, Evan Martynowicz and Traceson Gearhart shut down Peru after the first few minutes. Mids controlled the game. Liam York, Owen Kruschwitz, Gavin Simmers, Jose Hernandez, and Logan Bishop all did a great job.
