The Wabash Apaches got off to a good start before falling to Alexandria 25-13 Friday.
The Apaches struck first and led 7-0 after one quarter when Isaak Wright connected with Antonio Grant for a 21yd scoring strike.
Alexandria would get the lone score in the second quarter on a 7yd pass play to make it 7-7 at the half.
The Tigers would run the kick off back to start the second half which would be the only score of the quarter. Alexandria led 13-7 after three.
The Tigers would tack on two more scores in the fourth to lead 25-7 before Wright found Grant for a 45yd scoring strike with 2:29 left to make the final 25-13.
