The Northfield volleyball team went 2-1 at their own invite Saturday.
Northfield lost to Eastern in game 1: 19-25, 25-20, 13-15
Northfield beat Lewis Cass in game 2: 25-21, 27-25
Northfield beat Winamac in game 3: 25-23, 25-16
For the day: Josie Lynn had 12 kills and 6 blocks
Hannah Holmes had 8 kills
Eden Hoover 45 receptions and 43 digs
Elli Baker had 31 receptions and 23 kills
Ava Copeland had 22 points and 8 receptions
Emily Pennington had 13 kills and 4 blocks
Gabby Haupert had 15 kills & 22 digs
Ella Hunter had 68 assists and 4 BLOCKS!!!!!
The Northfield junior varsity won the Northfield Invite defeating Lewis Cass 25-12 and 25-24, then defeating Eastern 25-22 and 25-17.
Avery Shrider had 1 block and 21 points including 10 aces; Kirsten Rife had 11 assists and 12 points including 1 ace; Jojo Drancik had 1 kill, 3 blocks, and 11 points including 5 aces; Camryn Kuhn had 11 kills and 10 points including 6 aces; Sam Powell had 1 solo kill and 5 assists; Josie Weaver had 1 assist and 2 points including 1 ace; Jaeda Lynn had 2 kills including 1 solo; Emma Warnock had 2 kills and 4 points including 3 aces; and Macie Overlander had 2 kills.
