Norse Ground Game Stops Knights
The Northfield and Southwood football teams went to battle Friday with the Norse defeating the Knights 20-13.
The Knights would strike first when Mo Lloyd connected with Cole Winer from 33yds out to make it 7-0 Knights after one quarter.
Northfield would even the score in the second when Jake Halderman crossed the goal line from a yard out to make it 7-7 at the half.
The Norse would grab the lead in the third. Halderman would find Dylan Ross from 18yds out to give the Norse a 13-7 lead. Lloyd would even the score on a 3yd run to make it 13-13 heading to the final stanza.
With 9:58 left in the game Goshert would punch it in from 2yds out to give Northfield a 20-13 lead that would hold for the final score.
