Wabash 5/6 Tops Whitko

The Wabash 5th & 6th grade volleyball teams defeated Whitko Wednesday.

Girls 6th grade volleyball goes to 3-0 tonight. Addison Wischman led the Apaches with 7 service points and 5 aces in match one. Zoe Vail added 2 service points, both being aces. Ayanna Sellers, Avi Osborne, and Pasyn Schuler all added 1 service point to lead the girls to victory. In match two, Addison Wischman, Josie Bakehorn, and Zoe Vail all had 3 service points and two aces. Zoe and Addison each had a kill. Pasyn Schuler and Avi Osborne added 2 service points each.

Girls 5th grade team also went to 3-0 (25-16, 25-11) on the season. Kira Pattee led the girls to victory with 7 service points, all being aces in match one. Emily McCoart added 3 points and 3 aces. In match two, Josie Bakehorn and Emily McCoart led the team with 5 service points and 5 aces each. Trinity Flohr and Kendylan Lochner both added 3 service points and 3 aces.

The 5th and 6th grade girls will be back in action Thursday, 9/16 at home, in the Wabash High School gymnasium against Caston starting at 5:30pm.
