Wabash 6th Wins Dunes Tourney
The Wabash 6th grade girls volleyball went undefeated Saturday at the Dunes Volleyball Club Invitational beating Grissom (25-13, 25-22), Kankakee Valley (25-9, 25-19) and Pioneer (25-19, 25-19) in pool play.
In the tourney, the 6th grade girls beat again Grissom (25-16, 25-13) and Pioneer (25-17, 25-23) to bring home the trophy. Zoe Vail led Wabash for the day with 46 service points, 38 aces, and 8 kills. Addison Wischman added 21 service points, 11 aces, and 2 kills. Ayanna Sellers also scored 19 service points and 8 aces. Josie Bakehorn helped out with 16 service points, 11 aces, and 1 kill. Pasyn Schuler scored 7 service points and 3 aces. Avi Osborne scored 3 service points and 2 aces and Kendylan Lochner scored 2 service points.
5th and 6th grade will be back in action on Tuesday at Maconaquah and Thursday at home.
