Manchester Womens Soccer Falls
NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Manchester University women’s soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision on the road at St. Mary’s College on Wednesday September 22.
The host Belles scored all three of their goals in the second half. Rose Stackhouse scored her seventh goal of the season 59 seconds into the second period. Katie Harrington (48th minute) and Mary Kaczynski (78th minute) rounded out the scoring for SMC.
Adelle Stanko (Okemos, Mich./Okemos) led Manchester with three shots in the game. Becca Colbert (Porter, Ind./Chesterton) made 10 saves in goal.
The Spartans (1-4) will head to Alma College for another non-conference match on Saturday September 25. Saturday’s match is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
The Belles moved to 7-1 on the season. SMC will play at Heidelberg on Saturday September 25.
