Wabash Girls Soccer Wins Shoot Out Over Manchester

The Wabash Lady Apaches were finally able to complete their contest against conference rival Manchester, after the first meeting got called due to lighting prior to the game starting and the second meeting being called due to lighting with just 2:47 to play in the match.

With the score being 0-0 with 2:47 left, that is where the match started. The game remained scoreless through both 7 minute overtime periods. The match then moved to PK shootout. Junior Libby Mattern, Senior Linda Cordes and Junior Rylee Yoakum all put their PK’s in the back of the net, with Junior Hannah Layne only allowing 1 Squire goal – the Lady Apaches win 3-1 in the shootout!
