The Southwood Knight Harriers trounced through mud and ankle deep waters in a spectacle that resembled a tough mudder challenge as they competed in the New Haven Invitational on Saturday.
In a field of 173 runners, Casey Boardman led the Knights by claiming a Top 25 medal position, finishing in 24th with a time of 18:42. Jacob Marlow covered the terrain in 20:19, taking 77th place. Landon Mitchell and Luke Andrews continue to show gains as they finished in 98th and 99th positions. Rounding out scoring for the Knights was Devin Danzy in 152nd place.
The Knights trek to Tipp Valley next Saturday for the TRC championship race.
