Wabash JH At The Dunes
The Wabash junior high volleyball teams played in the Dunes Invite Saturday.
The Wabash MS 7th Grade Volleyball Team traveled to LaPorte, Indiana for the Dunes Tournament Invite on Sat. Sept. 25th and went 2-3 for the day.
The Lady Apache 7th Grade Team fell to Northside 8-25/8-25 and to Westside 5-25/16-25 in pool play, but the Wabash MS Team recovered to defeat Buchanan MS 26-24/25-23 to place 3rd in pool play. In bracket play the Wabash 7th Grade Team beat St. Joe 25-14/25-11 to advance to the bracket final for a rematch with Buchanan MS. The 7th Grade Lady Apaches fought hard in the 3 set match before losing to Buchanan 18-25/25-19/13-15. The Wabash MS 7th Grade Volleyball Team record is now 5-11

Andi Conliff led her Team with 33 Service Points, including 22 Aces, 30 Service Receptions, 17 Kills, 8 Assists and 4 Digs.
Liv Dillon had 20 Service Points, including 13 Aces, 21 Service Receptions, 10 Digs, 7 Assists and 3 Kills.
Aubri Merrell had 16 Service Points, including 6 Aces, 17 Service Receptions, 6 Kills, 4 Assists and 4 Digs.
Paige Miller had 16 Service Points, Including 9 Aces, 9 Service Receptions, 5 Digs, 3 Blocks, 2 Stuff Blocks, 2 Kills and 1 Assist.
Braelyn Eis had 7 Service Points, including 2 Aces, 13 Service Receptions, 6 Kills, 6 Digs and 4 Assists.
Haylie Figert had 3 Service Points, 11 Service Receptions, 11 Digs and a Kill.
Raelee Weeks had a Service Point, a Service Reception and 3 Digs.
Wabash 8th grade started pool play getting a win against Michigan Lutheran 25-8, 25-22 a loss to Northside 13-25, 20-25 and a loss to John Young 6-25, 19- 25 placing them 3rd in pool play and in the silver bracket.
Wabash won against Knox 25-19, 25-18 won against Buchanon 28-26, 25-17 and won against St. Joe 25-9, 26-16 to win the silver bracket placing them in 7th place out of 12 teams.
