Norse Wrestling Gets Massive Win Over Caston
The Northfield Wrestling Norsemen opened up their season with a massive win over sectional rival Caston Thursday.
Northfield Senior Mason Osborn kicked off the meet with a 14-second pin of Noah Herd. Cody Copeland (N) started his senior season with a victory, via a pin, on Pete Devall (C). Sophomores Layne Denton and Dylan Osborn both scored pins over their Caston opponents. Norse Freshmen Ella Gahl begin her varsity wrestling career with a 12-7 decision victory over Caston’s Quinlan Kelly. The Norsemen travel to Rossville this Saturday to compete in the Hornet Super Six Invitational.
