Manchester Wrestling Falls To Rochester
The Manchester Squires Wrestling team suffered a defeat in the home home opener against Class 1A 6th ranked Rochester.
A Squires team featuring 9 underclassmen in the lineup will will look to grow from the experience. Senior Dominic Lincoln opened the dual with an exciting pin to energize the home crowd, and Junior Zach France came up with a big late takedown and nearfall points to secure a solid win. Senior Dylan Stroud was able to build a 14 point lead with 8 takedowns before finishing the match with a pin. Overall, the Squires found many things to improve and work on heading towards another TRC battle Tuesday night at 6:30 PM at Peru.
