Wabash JH Splits With Northfield
The Wabash 8th grade Boys Basketball team lost to Northfield 37-30 on Monday night.
Cooper Long–15 points and 4 rebounds
Derek Reed–5 points–4 rebounds–4 steals
Sam Harris–4 points–6 rebounds–2 steals
Keaton Lane–3 points-3 rebounds–2 steals
Max Carpenter–3 points–3 rebounds–2 steals
Adam Miller–2 steals and 2 blocks
Shooting 45% from the field the Norse were led by Ryder Schram with 10 points, Also, scoring for the Norse was Jake Perney with 8, Gavin Brainard with 7, Ty Leming with 6, Alec Oswalt with 4 and Tyler Haupert with 2. The Norse also led the way out rebounding Wabash 20-11.
Wabash 7th traveled to Northfield to take on the Norse and came away with a 40-7 victory.
Leading the Apaches was Jarrett McWhirt with10 points 5 rebounds and4 steals. Randy Boring and Haiden McWhirt scored 8 points apiece. Haiden also grabbed 5 rebounds. Karson McKenzie had 8 points, 14 steals and 3 assists. Rounding out the scoring for the Apaches was Kallen Gidley with 4 points Jae’Lin Collins and Aiden Fishback with 2 points apiece. Jaxon McCollum had 3 steals.
Leading the way for the Norse was Caleb Dubois with 5 points and 4 rebounds. Wyatt Bucher added 2 points and 6 rebounds.
