Lady Squires Stopped By Carroll

The Manchester Lady Squires fell to highly 2A ranked Carroll 63-38 Saturday.

The ladies battled hard defensively, but offensive woes hit as they only shot 24% on the night. A halftime deficit of 31-18 was a hole that they never got out of.

Ainsley West led most stat lines with 14 points, 6 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 3 steals. Keilan Creager not only had a phenomenal game defensively, but also added 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists. Aliala Atienza and Brookelynn Buzzard both had 5 points and 3 rebounds apiece. Gracie Lauer battled hard on the inside and contributed 4 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals.

The Lady Squires are back in action next Friday, December 17th with a conference game at Southwood.
