Squire Wrestling Falls To Eastern
The Manchester wrestling team fell to Eastern 42-30 Wednesday.

The Manchester Squires Wrestling Team started out strong in a road dual against Eastern with a come from behind pin from Freshman Jordan Owens going up a weight to 126. After Freshman Tallon Selleck battled to only lose by a decision, Senior Dylan Stroud moved to 19-0 on the year with a first period pin. Freshman Jose Cortes collected a forfeit to put the Squires up 18-3, and the lead moved to 24-9 after Senior Dominic Lincoln collected his 15th win of the year with a Fall. Junior Zach France registered a Fall at 182 to put Manchester up 30-15, but the host Comets collected 5 straight wins to claim the victory on their Senior Night. Overall the Squires battled on the night and the team is excited to get several key starters back in the lineup this Saturday in the East Noble Invitational starting at 9:15am.
