The Wabash junior high swim team defeated Blackford 90-79 Tuesday.
Our first meet went well with several good swims and lots of effort by our new swimmers. Our 200 Medley Relay of Quinn Myers, Rinka Higuera, Harper Haynes, and Mallory Tart finished first. Tart also won the 200 Free and 100 IM. Tart Higuera, Kenzie Brown, and Myers also took first in the 400 Freestyle Relay. Haynes and Brown went 1-2 in the 50 Fly and Myers and Higera went 1-2 in the 100 Free. Tart also won the 400 Free. Myers placed first in the 100 Back and Higuera placed first in the 100 Breaststoke.
For the boys, Isaiah Jones placed 2nd in the 50 Free and 3rd in the 50 Fly. Michael LePage placed 3rd in the 100 Backstroke and Lucas Coffman placed 2nd in the 100 Breaststroke.
