Wabash Track Returns To IWU

The Wabash High School boys track team returned to IWU for another HSR qualifier meet Saturday, improving upon performances from the previous week.

Spencer Stout improved his 60 hurdle time to 9.19 seconds finishing in 6th overall.

The 4x 400 relay of Troy Guenin-Hodson, Chase Howard, Dave Ford, and Spencer Stout dropped 8 seconds from the previous week to finish 9th out of 24 teams.

The 4x 800 relay of Dave Ford, Kaden Vogel, Chase Howard, and Jonas Church improved to 9:26 this week, winning their section and coming in 9th out of 20 teams

The distance medley relay composed of Kaden Vogel (1200), Ethan Berry (400), Jace Bullins (800), and Jonas Church (1600) finished 15th

Other individual finishers included Taydem Harlan 28th and Isaac Byers 29th in shot put and Troy Guenin-Hodson 35th in the 60 dash.

The Apaches will have one more meet to post a top 24 performance in their respective events to qualify them for the HSR meet at IU on March 26th.
