Spartans Fall At Heidelberg

TIFFIN, Ohio. – The Manchester University baseball team was topped in non-conference action by the Heidelberg Student Princes on Wednesday March 30. The Black & Gold suffered an 8-2 setback in a single, nine-inning contest.

Spartan Stats

First-year Rocco Hanes (Ossian, Ind./Norwell) led Manchester with a 3-4 performance at the plate. Hanes doubled twice against the Student Princes.
Austin Knowles (Nassau, Bahamas/Athens Christian (Ga.)) added a pair of hits for Manchester. The Black & Gold collected 11 hits in Wednesday’s game.
Brady Perez (Rochester, Ind./Rochester) tripled for the Spartans.
In a tune-up ahead of Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play, nine different pitchers toed the rubber for the Spartans.
