Northfield/Wabash JH Track Falls To Maconaquah
Tuesday night the Northfield junior high track teams hosted Wabash and Maconaquah in their first meet of the season.
The 7th grade girls placed 1st as a team, 8th grade girls 2nd, 7th grade boys 2nd, and 8th grade boys 3rd. Incredible 1st place individual finishes were Stella Stephens in discus, Vivian Haupert in shot put, Emily Miller in 100M hurdles, Leah Shafer in 200M hurdles, and Kaleigh Rice in the 800M. More fantastic 1st place finishes were Sophia Holley in long jump, Mikayla Meyer in 100 M hurdles, and the 400M relay team of Sophia Holley, Laney Haupert, Lily Shear, and Vivian Haupert. Our boys have several excellent individual winners as well. They were Kalel Dunn in shot put, Tayten Barlow in high jump, Xavier Roark in shot put, and Trevor Galbraith in 400M.
Wabash athletes brought home several top-placing finishes, along with multiple victories in field events and relays.
