Blackhawks Top Cubs

The Intrasect Technologies Blackhawks defeated the Wabash Elk’s Lodge Cubs 9-2 in 6 innings.

Logan Holmes and Ryker McKillip led the Blackhawks at the plate. Holmes went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI singles while McKillip went 3 for 4 with 2 singles, a double, and 3 RBI. Jake Sailors added an RBI triple and Aiden Mahan also singled for the Blackhawks. Sailors got the win on the mound allowing 2 hits, 2 runs and striking out 11 in 4 innings. Brody Schnurpel went 2 for 3 with a single and a double to lead the Cubs. Ryker Wilcox added an RBI single. Treyce Daughtry took the L for the Cubs allowing 5 runs while striking out 4 in 2 innings. Ryker Wilcox came on in relief allowing 4 runs while striking out 10 in 3 and 2/3 innings. The Blackhawks are now 3-1 while the Cubs are 2-2 on the season.
