The were two games in the National League on Saturday.

Game 1: Intrasect Technologies Blackhawks @ Wabash Hardware Giants

Recap: The Intrasect Technologies Blackhawks defeated the Wabash Hardware Giants 16-0 in 3 innings. Jake Sailors led the Blackhawks at the plate going 2-3 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI. Logan Holmes had a double and a single. Eli Eltzroth added a single and 2 RBI. Ethan Mahan added 2 singles and 2 RBI. Aiden Mahan had 2 singles while Braxton Chamberlain added an RBI single. Jake Sailors got the win on the mound giving up 1 hit and striking out 5 in 2 innings. Logan Holmes pitched an inning in relief giving up 1 hit. Tavian Trotter and Micah Siders singled for the Giants. Micah Siders took the L while striking out 5 in 2 and 1/3 innings. The Blackhawks moved to 2-1 on the season while the Giants fell to 0-3.

Game 2: Wabash Elk’s Lodge Cubs @ Inguard A’s

Recap: The Wabash Elk’s Lodge Cubs beat the Inguard A’s 7-3 in 6 innings. Treyce Daughtry led the Cubs going 4-5 with 4 singles and an RBI. Brody Schnurpel added a single and a double. Quenten Titus had a double while Ian Edmond and Ryker Wilcox each added a single. Landan Johnson started on the hill for the Cubs and got the win striking out 11 in 4 innings. Treyce Daughtry and Ryker Wilcox each pitched an inning in relief and both struck out the side. Kam Oswalt scored 2 runs to lead the A’s. Oswalt got the start for the A’s and took the L while striking out 3 in 2 innings. Peyton Ward added 5 strikeouts in 4 innings of relief. The Cubs are now 2-1 while the A’s are 1-2 on the season.
