Cubs Handle Red Sox

The Wabash Elk’s Lodge Cubs beat the Crossroads Bank Red Sox 12-1 in 4 innings Wednesday.

Ian Edmond led the Cubs at the plate going 2 for 2 with 3 runs scored. Ryker Wilcox added a single and 2 RBI. Brody Schnurpel doubled and Treyce Daughtry singled and scored 3 runs. Daughtry went the distance on the mound for the Cubs allowing 1 run on 4 hits while striking out 10. Jordan Fields, Jameson Wallen, RJ Harris, and Cade Pershing all singled for the Red Sox. Ashton Shepler started and took the loss on the mound for the Red Sox. The Cubs improved to 4-2 while the Red Sox are now 2-3 on the season.
