Wabash MS Soccer Falls To Manchester
Wabash MS soccer hosted the Manchester Squires in a rematch Thursday, falling to the Squires 6-1.
The Squires’ depth proved too much for the 11-man Apache squad, posting 6 goals in the first half. Breaks were taken due to the extreme heat. Following one such rest period, Max Carpenter was able to break through the Squire defense and bury one in the back of the net. Apache keeper Jake Vandegrift had 10 saves on the night. The final score was 6-1. Wabash’s final game for the 2022 season will be at Alumni Field on Monday, May 16 against Tippecanoe Valley at 5:30 pm.
