The Wabash High School Freshmen and Sophomores competed in the 9th/10th grade invitational Saturday at Huntington North High School finishing 8th out of 15 teams.

Jonas Church, Kasen Oswalt, and Kristian Stanton all set personal records in the 1600. Jonas with a 5:08, Kasen a 5:13, and Kristian with a 5:44.

Troy Guenin-Hodson made the finals and finished 7th in the 200 with a new best time of 24.28

Spencer Stout finished 2nd in the 110 hurdles and third in the 300 hurdles in new personal best times – 15.89 in the 110 and 41.11 in the 300 hurdles

Chase Howard finished as runner-up in the 800 with a new personal best time of 2:11. Kasen Oswalt also ran the 800 in a new personal best time of 2:26.

John Renn competed in long jump and the 400 setting personal records in both – 16′ 7.25″ in the long jump and 58.88 in the 400. Ty Carpenter also set a personal record in the long jump with a 16′ 5.5″ jump.

Isaac Byers competed in shot put and discus coming in 9th and 13th respectively.
