The Wabash MS soccer team fell to Tippecanoe Valley 9-1 Monday.

For its final game of the 2022 season, the Apaches hosted the Tippecanoe Valley Vikings in a rematch. Sheer numbers once again proved to be Wabash’s downfall with only 1 sub for the entire game compared to Valley’s full bench. The Apaches held the Vikings to only 3 goals in the first half, but weren’t able to answer back before halftime. At the beginning of the second half, Logan Wright showed her experience, speed, and skill by pushing past the Viking’s defensive line on a break away and driving one past Valley’s keeper. Despite the unwavering effort by the Apaches, Wabash fell to Tipp Valley 9-1 to close out the season. The MS Soccer program thanks Assistant Coach Julio Luevano for his guidance and expertise throughout the season, the Kaylee Indrutz family for their help with ball running and operating the scoreboard at home games, and all the parents and fans of the players and program itself. Additional thanks go to Varsity coaches Keisha Wright (Wabash Girl’s team) and Bill Benysh (Wabash Boy’s team) for their ongoing support of the program.
