Yankees Top Giants

The Kendall Electric Yankees defeated the Wabash Hardware Giants 15-7 in 5 innings.

Mackey Sorg went 2 for 2 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI to lead the Yankees. Liam Clark with 3 for 4 with a double and 3 RBI. Harrison Dale had a double and 2 RBI. Dylan Hurst added 2 hits and an RBI while Asa Dawes added a single and 2 RBI. Eli Shellhammer picked up the win in relief allowing 3 hits and striking out 3 in 3 innings. Luke Kaufman went 2 for 2 with a 2 run double to lead the Giants at the plate. Micah Siders added 2 hits and an RBI. Tavian Trotter had an RBI double. Carson Amburgey added a single and 2 RBI. Gavin Trotter, Eli Dafoe, and Blake Enyeart all added singles for the Giants. Luke Kaufman took the loss on the mound in relief. With the win the Yankees improved to 5-1 while the Giants fell to 0-5 on the season.
