Cubs Grab Comeback Win
The Wabash Elk’s Lodge Cubs scored 7 runs in the top of the 6th inning to come from behind and defeat the Wabash Hardware Giants 12-8 Thursday.
Ryker Wilcox led the Cubs at the plate going 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 3 runs scored. Ian Edmond added.2 hits while Brody Schnurpel had an RBI double. Quenten Titus added a double and Landan Johnson also singled for the Cubs. Ian Edmond got the win in relief striking out 5 in 2 innings. Tavian Trotter led the Giants at the plate going 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI. Micah Siders added a double while Luke Kaufman had an RBI single. Cale Enyeart, Eli Dafoe, and Blake Enyeart all added singles for the Giants. Micah Siders started on the mound for the Giants striking out 6 in 4 and 2/3 innings. Carson Amburgey took the loss for the Giants. With the win, the Cubs are now 6-3 on the season while the Giants dropped to 0-6.
