Harrison Dale added 2 hits and 2 RBI while Zach Miller had 2 hits and an RBI. Mackey Sorg had a hit and 2 RBI. Zach Miller picked up the win allowing 2 runs while striking out 6 in 3 and 2/3 innings. Treyce Daughtry had an RBI double and Macklin Denney added a single for the Cubs. Daughtry took the loss on the mound allowing 5 runs while striking out 5 in 3 innings. With the win the Yankees are now 7-1 on the season while the Cubs fell to 6-4.

Recap: In the first game of a doubleheader the Wabash Hardware Giants defeated the Crossroads Bank Red Sox 8-0 in 6 innings. Tavian Trotter led the Giants at the plate going 2 for 4 with a home run and 3 RBI. Micah Siders had 2 hits and scored 3 runs. Blake Enyeart added 2 singles while Luke Kaufman had a single and 2 RBI. Cale Enyeart and Gavin Lester also singled for the Giants. Tavian Trotter earned the win while tossing a complete game shutout and striking out 12. Ashton Shepler took the loss for the Red Sox striking out 7 in 4 innings. The Giants picked up their first win of the season and are now 1-6 while the Red Sox fell to 2-5.
Game 3: Wabash Hardware Giants @ Crossroads Bank Red Sox
Recap: In game 2 of the doubleheader the Wabash Hardware Giants held on to defeat the Crossroads Bank Red Sox 12-10 in 6 innings. Tavian Trotter went 3 for 3 with a 2 run homer, 2 doubles, and 4 runs scored to lead the Giants at the plate. Micah Siders added 2 singles and 2 RBI while Luke Kaufman doubled and had an RBI single. Carson Amburgey added an RBI double while Blake Enyeart and Eastyn Eppard both singled for the Giants. Gavin Lester got the win in relief. Ashton Shepler had 2 hits and 2 RBI to lead the Red Sox at the plate. Jordan Fields had 2 hits including a double while Tyson Chambers had a single and a 2 run double. Jameson Wallen added 2 hits and Tristen Sluss added an RBI double. RJ Harris and Grady Lehner both singled for the Red Sox. RJ Harris pitched 5 innings in relief striking out 11. Tyson Chambers took the loss allowing 2 runs while striking out 3 in 1 inning. The Giants improved to 2-6 while the Red Sox are now also 2-6 on the season.
