A’s Take Two From Giants

The Inguard A’s came from behind to defeat the Wabash Hardware Giants 9-6 in 5 innings in a game that was started on Saturday 5/14 and suspended due to rain in the top of the 4th.

Cruz Long, Breckin Sanders, Blake Ashba, Conor Height, and Peyton Ward all singled for the A’s. Peyton Ward got the win for the A’s giving up 1 hit and striking out 3 in relief. Tavian Trotter was 2 for 2 with a 3 run Homer and an RBI triple to lead the Giants at the plate. Blake Enyeart, Micah Siders, and Luke Kaufman all added 2 hits. Maverick Mattern took the loss for the Giants. The A’s improved to 3-4 on the season while the Giants dropped to 2-7.

Game 2: Inguard A’s @ Wabash Hardware Giants

Recap: The Inguard A’s defeated the Wabash Hardware Giants 13-0 in 5 innings. Breckin Sanders had an RBI double and RBI triple to lead the A’s at the plate. Kamden Oswalt added 2 hits and 2 RBI. Peyton Ward had 2 hits and an RBI. Dylan Powell and Beckett Shaw both had RBI singles while Cruz Long singled for the A’s. Cruz Long got the win on the mound striking out 11 in 4 and 1/3 innings. Luke Kaufman had a triple to lead the Giants at the plate. Micah Siders and Blake Enyeart both singled for the Giants. Micah Siders took the loss for the Giants striking out 10 in 4 and 2/3 innings. With the win, the A’s are now 4-4 on the season while the Giants are 2-8.
