There were two games in the National League Monday.
Game 1: Inguard A’s @ Wabash Hardware Giants
Recap: The Inguard A’s defeated the Wabash Hardware Giants 11-1 in 4 innings. Breckin Sanders was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and 5 RBI to lead the A’s. Zander McKnight added a double and 2 RBI. Kamden Oswalt, Cruz Long, and Dylan Powell all singled for the A’s. Cruz Long picked up the win striking out 5 in 2 and 1/3 innings. Tavian Trotter doubled and scored a run to lead the Giants at the plate. Micah Siders doubled and Luke Kaufman had a single. Luke Kaufman took the loss for the Giants. With the win, the A’s improved to 7-6 while the Giants dropped to 3-11 on the season.
Game 2: Intrasect Technologies Blackhawks @ Wabash Elk’s Lodge Cubs
Recap: The Intrasect Technologies Blackhawks beat the Wabash Elk’s Lodge Cubs 13-3 in 6 innings. Eli Eltzroth was 3 for 4 with a double and an RBI to lead the Blackhawks. Ryker McKillip added 2 hits while Logan Holmes tripled. Jake Sailors had a 2 run double and McKinley Baker added a 2 run single. Eli Mahan and Colton Rice had RBI singles while Aidan Mahan had a single and an RBI. Jake Sailors got the win striking out 10 in 5 innings. Brody Schnurpel had a 2 run triple to lead the Cubs. Ryker Wilcox was 2 for 2 with an RBI double while Treyce Daughtry, Ian Edmond, and Nash Cunningham all singled for the Cubs. Treyce Daughtry took the loss for the Cubs. The Blackhawks are now 8-5 on the season while the Cubs are 8-6.
