Yankees Come From Behind To Defeat A’s

In the last game of the regular season, the Kendall Electric Yankees came from behind to beat the Inguard A’s 8-6 in 6 innings.

Bode Sorg had 2 hits and 2 RBI to lead the Yankees at the plate. Harrison Dale added 2 hits and Hudson Haupert had an RBI single. Liam Clark, Asa Dawes, and Mackey Sorg all singled for the Yankees. Bode Sorg earned the win in relief while striking out 6 in 3 innings. Kamden Oswalt was 2 for 3 with an RBI double to lead the A’s at the plate. Cruz Long had a 2 run single and Peyton Ward had 2 hits including a double. Dylan Powell also added a hit and 2 RBI for the A’s. Kamden Oswalt started on the mound striking out 6 in 4 innings. Blake Ashba came on in relief and took the loss. With the win, the Yankees finished the regular season at 14-1 while the A’s were 7-8.

Tournament play begins Tuesday at 6:00
