Manchester/Southwood Run At Oak Hill

The Manchester and Southwood cross country teams ran at Oak Hill Tuesday.

The Manchester girls finished 2nd.

The girls were led by Kadence Fox in 1st place and Ayla Cashdollar in 2nd place. 4 of the 9 girls who ran competed in their first high school cross country 5k race and gained valuable experience.

The boys team finished 2nd to Oak Hill with great efforts in the first race of the season. The team was led by Kyler Dale in 3rd place.

For the Southwood girls Bryn Mealy finished 3rd with a time of 21:46 in a field of 19 runners.

Jaiya Corn finished 14th overall.

For the Southwood boys Casey Boardman finished 6th out of a field of 15.

Luke Andrews finished 9th setting a new PR of 19:54.

Landon Mitchell also competed for the Knights.
