Lady Squires Edged By West Noble

The Manchester girls soccer team fell to West Noble 1-0 Saturday.

The Lady Squires started the game strong against West Noble. Manchester was able to string together multiple attacks but was unable to finish the shots. Samantha Shock was able to break away a number of times to get a good look at goal or send a great cross. Brookelynn Buzzard, Aymia Miller, Hannah Eberly and Sophie Anglin had some shots at goal as well. Near the end of the first half West Noble was able to score on a pk to take a 1-0 lead.

Manchester continued to battle throughout the second half but came up short, ending the game with a 1-0 loss. Addison Brubaker, Ella Clifford, Maggie Onderko-White and Karsyn Kamphues had a great game defensively. Grace Smith had 2 saves.
