Results from Peru for Tuesday, September 13th

The Tigers put a cap on their regular season with a three match at Honeywell Golf Course against Northfield and Rochester. Peru finished third with 233 behind Rochester (177) and Northfield (225). Kara Baker led the Tigers with 54, followed by Madi Nero with 57, Raina Nero with 58, and Lainey Wouster with 64. Other scores for Peru were Tessa Holland with 66, Kelsey Guyer and Brooklyn Weller each with 69, Bailee Beattie and Maddie Caldwell each with 71, and Annie Dolly with 72.

Peru competes in the Western Sectional at Chippendale on Friday. Tee times start at 10:00.


JV Lady Tigers fell in 2 sets 16-25, 19-25 against Northfield Tuesday night. Sophomores Ila Johnson and Rilei Boggs collected 3 kills each and freshman Addison Butt with 10 assists.
Varsity dropped their record facing TRC opponent Northfield in 3 sets 22-25, 16-25, 20-25. The Tigers put up a fight with senior Emily Ream scoring 6 points and 23 digs. Senior Caitlyn Miller thumped 5 kills and 2 solo blocks on the night. Senior Jayma Majors with 3 kills, 2 solo blocks and 3 assists.
Peru will face another TRC opponent and county rival next Tuesday at North Miami with JV starting at 6:00pm.
