Results from Peru for Wednesday, September 14th

Peru Tigers showing their true colors in the first half of the game. Controlling the ball, having chances to shoot, and protecting the goal when needed. Tobi Odubena scoring almost a half field goal with a big shot from 35-40 yards out from Twin Lakes’ goal. Brycen Harlan was the ice breaker for tonight’s goals with a fantastic well placed ball.

There are two halves in soccer however, and the second half came down to endurance and communication issues. Just a another feather in the hat for us to take notes on and become a better team later on in the season.

The Peru girls soccer team fell to Twin Lakes 7-0 Wednesday.

Lady Tigers were in action at Twin Lakes for another tough battle on the field. Starting the game with 11 players, shortly dropping to 10 due to an injury left the Tigers in a scramble to adjust as Twin Lakes kept the pressure up. Our defense was strong, held their line catching Twin Lakes offside many times. The ladies all played hard for 80 min and will contiune at practice to get better.

The Tigers are in action again Satruday, Home for a make-up game against Mac at 1pm.
