Results from junior high volleyball for Saturday, September 24th
The Wabash MS 7th Grade Volleyball Team went 3-1 at The Dunes MS Invite on Sat. Sept. 24th at The Dunes Event Center in LaPorte, Indiana. The 7th Grade Lady Apache Volleyball Team lost their 1st Match in pool play to Northwood, 10-25/17-25/2-25, but recovered in their 2nd Match of the day, defeating Westside 25-18/25-23/25-14 to come in 2nd in their pool. In Bracket play the Wabash 7th Grade Team beat John Young MS 26-24/25-22 and Benton Central 25-19/25-22 to come in 5th overall in tthe 7th Grade Division. The 7th Grade Lady Apache Volleyball Team Record is 14-5.
Zoe Vail led her team with 54 Service Points, including 28 Aces, 36 Service Receptions, 30 Digs, 11 Assists and 15 Kills.
Avionna Osborne had 20 Service Points, including 10 Aces, 20 Service Receptions, 14 Digs, 15 Assists and 6 Kills.
Ayanna Sellers had 13 Service Points, including 4 Aces, 15 Service Receptions, 18 Digs, an Assist and 5 Kills.
Pasyn Schuler had 10 Service Points, including 5 Aces, 2 Service Receptions, 2 Digs, 5 Assists, 5 Kills and a Stuff Block.
Brooklyn Arrowood had 10 Service Points, including 3 Aces, 3 Service Receptions, 11 Digs, 3 Assists and a Kill.

The 7th grade girls volleyball team defeated North Miami 25-16, 25-16, Rochester 25-18, 25-20, and RJ Baskett 25-23, 25-14 before falling to Tipp. Valley in the championship game, 20-25, 25-18, 9-15.

Lady Norse played in the Southwood Junior High Invite. Overall, 7th grade got 8th place and 8th grade came in 4th.
The 7th grade team played Eastbrook to start the morning off scoring 25-20 and 8-25. Next up they fell to Manchester with scores of 14-25 and 23-25. Their third game was against Tipp Valley. Scores for that game were 21-25 and 23-25. For their final game of they day they played Rochester ending with scores of 22-25 and 11-25.
8th grade started their morning off taking on Manchester with scores of 20-25 and 25-18. Next in line for the Norse were Tipp Valley scoring 25-15 and 25-21. For the 8th grade’s third game of the day they played Mississinewa with scores of 15-25 and 25-19. Their final game was up against Rochester ending with the scores of 15-25 and 16-25.
