Squires Fall In Regular Season Final

The Manchester Boys Varsity Soccer team suffering a heartbreaking TRC loss to North Miami on Senior Night, in the final game of the regular season.

The Squires controlled much of the first half, scoring a lone goal in the 22nd minute. Michael Ortiz scored and Diego Munoz assisted.

At half time, the exchange students and seniors were recognized: Roberto Iaione (Italy), Tristan Schmid (Germany), Kolby Haecker, Traceson Gearhart, Liam York, Trevor Heath, Jose Hernandez, and Michael Ortiz.

In the second half, Manchester gave up two goals, as they struggled at both ends of the field, unable to play effectively on defense and unable to put adequate pressure on the goal at the offensive end.

Manchester will play in their sectional at Wabash, facing either Wabash or Tippicanoe Valley on Wednesday evening next week.
