Norse Shut Down Tigers At Peru

The Peru Tigers would score the first touchdown of the game before Northfield scored 36 straight points to win at Peru 36-14 Friday.

The Tigers would get the lone score of the first quarter and led 7-0 before the Norse went to work in the second.

Jackson Peas would score from 6yds out to make it 7-6 before Mason Fisher connected with Eli Kroh from 7yds out. Fisher would then hit C.J. Long for the two point conversion and the Norse led 14-7 at the half.

Northfield would build on their lead in the third. Fisher and Kroh would hook up again from 16yds out to lead 22-7 after a botch extra point turned into a tipped pass that was caught by Noah Burkhart for two points. Fisher would then find Long a second time to lead 28-7 after three.

Fisher would score from a yard out for the final Northfield score in route to the 36-14 win.
