VolleyKnights Capture Sectional Crown
The Southwood and Northfield volleyball teams met for the sectional championship Saturday at Southwood with the Lady Knights defeating the Norse 25-16, 25-19, 25-11.
In set one the Knights raced out to a 14-8 lead and held that margin the remainder of the set for a 25-16 win.
Set two was a battle early at 9-6 when the Knights went running to build a 21-11 lead before the Norse cut the deficit to 23-18. Southwood would win the set 25-19.
Set three was all Southwood as the VolleyKnights started fast in a 25-11 win.
