On Saturday morning the Wabash High School boys cross country team returned to IWU for a tough regional rematch with an excellent Oak Hill team.

Despite Oak Hill getting first and second places the Apaches were able to put enough runners in the right spots to secure a close victory.

The first Apache runner to cross the finish line was Jonas Church in 5th place. Kaden Vogel (7th) and Dave Ford (10th) were right behind. This trio unit established a strong presence up front and their efforts sparked a tremendous showing from the other Wabash runners in the race. Isaiah Cordes finished in 21st and Jace Bullins finished in 29th. Chase Howard came in 37th while Kasen Oswalt came in 57th.

The team returns to IWU next Saturday for the semi-state meet.
