Lady Squires Fall To Triton

The Manchester girls basketball team fell to Triton 47-37 Friday.

The Lady Squires came out aggressively on the defensive end of the floor, holding Triton to just 7 first quarter points. Trading baskets in the second quarter, the ladies went into the locker room with a 4-point deficit 18-22.

Triton started to pull away in the 3rd quarter, but Manchester never backed down. The game was hard fought all the way to the end of the game.

The Squires saw multiple scorers tonight: Buzzard (15), Kim Schroll (6), Molly Schannep (6), Hadley West (3), Peyton Ream (3), Olivia Neal (2), and Aliala Atienza (2). Molly Schannep led the Squires in rebounds with 7, while Gracie Lauer, Brookelynn Buzzard, and Hadley West all brought down 5. Hadley West led in assists and steals with 5 of each.
